Definitely a lot of strong people from the DFW area, as to be expected. From San Antonio there are a few strong pieces I have seen that I expect will do well at state.


Duo
Hailey Medrano/Emma Trapp "Miss Beth" -very strong got 6th at Glenbrooks and won St. Marks.
James Rodriguez/Montana Rowton "Mr. big" -it's funny, fun, and I love doing it.
I forget the names of the competitors but there is a Chicago duo that does well and could go far.

Hi
Montana Rowton "Miss Poly's" -semied at Glenbrooks.
Hailey medrano "Tammy the T-Rex"- very funny hasn't done too well yet at large tournaments but I expect big things.
Seis Steves. (I'm not sure what he is doing but he formerly did) "Bat Boy" -very well done.

Di and OO
Well I'm not too familiar with Di but I assume we have a good amount of people going to state and for oratory, anyone from Churchill just astonishes me.

Duet
One team from St. Marys hall has a beautiful duet that I cannot wait to see how they do at state. I don't recall the name but I know one of the partners is Macy Bayern, who is spectacular.

This is what I can recall and what has stood out to me, so if anyone else on the San Antonio circuit has any others please share it would be awesome.

Region 4/Houston area. These are a few pieces I've seen/heard of. Not really final predictions, but I expect these people to do well this season and definitely be a threat at state. I expect several nat and NIETOC quals. Not good with piece names.
