Camp is a piece that was designed for forensics and has been done well a lot, it's very funny but one complaint I've heard from a lot of people is that there is no real meaning behind it, it is just joke after joke.
PS:I'm glad to hear you're so physically fit.

Hey! I actually wrote this piece, and I must agree with the previous poster. It was my first dip into writing anything (I'm now majoring in Screenwriting...thank you forensics!) and it really is joke after joke. Lots of characters you can do unique things with, but in Duo especially you may get knocked when judging it against pieces that go a bit deeper. I performed it as a Duo for a while, and there's some fun blocking and stuff you can do, but I actually found more success with it when I tried it out as a Humor piece.
Not to just plug my own pieces, but also look into Operation Saving Time. It's doesn't have THAT much more depth, but it does follow more of a storyline. My partner and I saw success with it in High School locally and nationally, and I know of someone who made Semifinals at Nats with it two years ago.

I pretty much know that i want to do Camp, i just really hate diving into scripts that i havent read. is there any way that i can preview this piece anywhere, maybe can you give me a little cutting of the script? i just feel that that would be very beneficial in making my final decision. thanks
