    Default Autobiography Piece

I'm thinking about doing "My Story" by Marilyn Monroe since autobiographies are becoming so popular nowadays, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do it justice. Should I try to do it like marilyn monroe herself, you should I make it sound like a general hollywood movie type? I'm not sure< Somebody help me!!

If it is her autobiography then do it as her. You are going to have do a lot of research about her mannerisms and vocal quality. Do not be afraid of a challenge

Yes, you'll definitely have to act like her to the best of your abilities, but it sounds like it could be a good idea. Particularly if you look a little bit like her and she's someone you really love.

It hasn't been done to an extremely successful level before, but its been done a few times. I know the piece "Marilyn/God" has been done a few times as well. So I don't think it's extremely innovative (especially if you're just doing it because celebrities are trending), but obviously if you really enjoy Marilyn Monroe, or if you really enjoy the piece, don't let anything stop you from giving it a go.

In terms of the voice: I think the main problem with this piece is a lot of people have different opinions of who Marilyn was. Some just think of her as a "hollywood girl" while others actually have seen footage and know her as her actual self. In my opinion, play her like she was, but do not exaggerate her character in the least bit.
