    Default Dealing with late rounds.

I don't know how it works in other states but in mine all the round robbin rounds are held Friday after school and last until about 11 or so. My question is how do you guys deal with late rounds without being super tired?

Our state has dealt with that one for us: All rounds in WA must begin by 9:00pm. All debates in Flight A have to be in progress by 9:00 or the tournament has to stop. That goes for finals as well. As a result, most directors won't try to start a round after 8:30, because of the embarassment and logistics of running around at 9:01 and trying to stop all the debates.

Perhaps a similar rule change for your state would be a nice thing to propose?

    Four words, my friend:

    Starbucks double shot energy.
