Oh, I just mean that several of the strong contenders in HI also have strong Duos. I would guess that at least the first alternate will qualify in HI due to overlaps between HI and Duo.
Anyone hear anything about my buddy Allison Scott from Summit HS? What piece is she doing & when is Jersey Nat quals?
Our buddy, and Greg Archer's duo partner Allison is doing "Secrets of a Soccer Mom" as her HI, and "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" as her duo. We have quals this weekend (at Summit). Summit actually just finished their show (they did Oklahoma), so they haven't been at the past few tournies due to that, but Allison should be a contender once again. HI and Duo are pretty hard this year though, so we'll see.Originally Posted by Haileyloves4n6

Only the greatest four rounds ever! All duos in the room were either locked for Nats or didn't have a chance, so thanks to the Kevins we played a little game....so much fun! The most hilarious things I've ever seen in my life.
As for Districts, I agree that HI and Duo are both tough. Should be interesting to see what happens.
Indeed it was some good ole much needed harmless fun to relieve some of the stress of districts.
On that note, it's time to buckle down for that.
HI and DUOs been getting a lot of attention, but I'd argue that the DI field is just as crazy.
A good 6-7 of them have broken at national tournaments.
We've got a pretty strong district.
Ah districts. First, how did Max and Sam drop so early in HI?? Unbelievable. Second, how did Snow Ball and Lombardi not break into finals??? Oh, New Jersey...
Get used to it; stuff like this happens every year at districts in one way or another. However, congrats to all those that qualified! Make NJ proud in Indy!
