Program idea

I had an idea for a poetry program, but I wanted some more experienced speakers' opinions...

I want to do a program about obesity, some humorous and some very serious. I wasn't sure if it would make judge's uncomfortable (being overweight myself). I've had some tell me that when they've seen or done personal speeches(diseases, deaths, etc), that the presentation was incredible. I've also had some say they felt uncomfortable. I guess my issue would be that obesity isn't really sypathised with, so I don't know how to go about this.

Any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated!!!

I believe that if you do the piece with passion and the up most respect judges will be fine with it I believe.
