Indiana '10-'11
Who's going to tear it up next year?
Here's what I've got:
Sr. Arika Jeter-Munster: 13th in Drama at Nats, DI State Champion, 2nd in Duo at State
Jr. Yusuf Agunbiade-Ben Davis: 5th in Storytelling at Nats, Quarterfinalist in DI, 2nd in DI and 9th in HI at State
Jr. Lincoln Clauss-Fishers: 14th in Duo at Nats, Mem. Duo State Champion and 4th in HI at State (and much of his success was with partner Sami White, and she will be a Jr. as well, so she should be in here too)
Sr. Jon Wachala-Munster: Did not attend Nats, 4th in Duo at State, 2nd in HI at State
Jr. Alexis Borom-Munster: Did not attend Nats, 2nd in Duo at State, Prose State Champion
Sr. Durrell Jamerson-Ben Davis: Octofinalist in Duo at Nats, 2nd in Poetry, 3rd in Duo and 7th in Poetry at State
Sr. Bryt Hiatt-Plymouth: Quarterfinalist in USX at Nats, 7th in USX and 10th in Impromptu at State
Sr. Emily Coughlin-HSE: Quarterfinalist in HI at Nats, 5th in HI at State
Sr. Brannon Bowers-Warren Central: Did not attend Nats, 4th in S. Duo and 6th in HI at State.
Fun fact: Bowers has been in 4 different State finals over the past 3 years (OP freshman year, Mem. Duo sophomore year, and S. Duo and HI junior year)...what will he think of next?
Key Losses: To name a few...Andy Langdon, Jon Tyree, Kurt Alberson, Darius Harris, Matt Keeley, Andi Tate, Cam Robertson, Shane Griffin, Tyler Fabbri, Adam Potrzebowski, Alex Parobek, Andy Neylon, Zach Wendt.

I think these are going to be the people doing well at districts, not to say there aren't others. These are just off the top of my head. Notice for Munster I put 5 drama's... let me give a rundown on that
Sr. Arika Jeter- State Champ DI, 13th at Nats DI, 2nd in State for M. DUO
Jr. London Borem- State Champ Prose, Didn't qualify for Nats, 2nd in M. DUO
Jr. Logan Foreit- Semi's at state for the last two years
Jr. Alison Reba- 5th at State in DI, didn't make the district team
Sr. Alex Kattan- 6th at state in Prose, Semi's in DI, didnt qualify for nats, but got 4th in prose at 2009 Nats, and 2nd in DI her sophomore year.
and you never know who else munster will pull out... seeing as how this last season was Arika Jeter's and London Borem's first year
SO YOU NEVER KNOW! haha

some results in HI (from the plymouth meet)-
1. A kid from Fishers doing "The day I sold my father for two goldfish"
2. Me, Cameron Ponce, doing "Camp"
3. Sami White, Fishers, "Miss Polly's..."
4. Lincoln Claus, Fishers, "The worlds Largest rodent"
5. ? Kara Fasone (i think), Chesterton (didnt see her perform)
6. ? Sean Hatfield, Plymouth, "Dracula the Musical"
8. Sam Compton, Plymouth, "The Boy who Fell into A Book."
It was really competative. All 8 placers (that I saw) were very clean and very distinct.
DUO champs were Claus/White
OO was Andy Braden, From Elkhart Central.
DI was Austin Craft, Plymouth
US Extemp was Michaila Nate, Plymouth
FX was Rebecca Brumbaugh, Plymouth
It might have been a small meet, but the competition from Fishers and Plymouth was intense! Can't wait to see how this evolves throughout the season.

The "kid from Fishers" is Dustin Meeks, a sophomore. Last year, he qualled to state in HI doing 008.
I keep waiting for full results to pop up on speechwire.com, but they haven't thus far.
...And if I'm not mistaken, Lincoln's HI is by Don Zolidis, Sami's HI is by Don Zolidis, and their duo might be by Don Zolidis....I feel they'll have a Zolidis-tastic year.

well I know that their humors are, and they were fantastic. I don't know about their duo though. I'm sure it will live up to last years.
sorry I didn't know Dustin's name. I just didn't catch it haha, but he is definatly a kid to watch out for!
