    Primaries:
    Clark vs. Bush

    Next President:
    Clark

as much as i like him (yeah yeah... get over it ), i don't think Bush will win this next election. he's really rocked the boat and done somethings that even i have to question. i don't know... i don't think he'll be around for a second term. i'm going to vote for him (i get to vote in the upcoming presidential election.. whoo!) but i don't think he'll win

Regardless of how much i like Carol Moseley Braun personally, i think that Howard Dean is going to narrowly beat Wes Clark for the dem. nod and then, will beat Bush fairly handily, considering he is simply a conservative masquerading as a Democrat. Eh, times are rough...

Jamie, I know you're being sarcastic (or are you?), but even I, the massachusetts liberal, have to agree with you.

IF Dean wins the nomination, he will get hammered (but not in the fun, alchool-related way). He's just as much of a moron as el- busherino. For a man with a medical degree, he sure has some crappy ideas about medicare, his record of approving gun-ownership-for-everyone-laws is disturbing, and his comments about confederate flag toting pickup-truck drivers even more so. Consider also that any democratic candidate must be from the south in order to win in the general election. Dean is not. If the dem's are to win, we will need a southerner on the ticket.
My pick: Kerry gets his **** together, and names John Edwards as his VP. There's a ticket I would vote for.

I am still hoping the Kerry campaign will get it back together and get this nomination. He would have a good chance against Bush...Dean would do better than most of you seem to be thinking, but I too think he would not beat Bush. Clark could also beat Bush in a tight race, but would need to show well in the debates next fall to win lots of votes because right now, no democrat has enough singular support to knock Bush out of office. Once there is a canidate, you just have to hope that all the supporters of other Democratic campaigns will go ahead and support the canidate so they keep those votes whether it be Dean, Kerry, Clark, or even Gephardt, if they could all get behind the canidate eventually, no matter who it is, they could knock off Bush...just hoping it works out that way!
    In heaven, everything is fine.

The democrats really need to get their asses together, because at this point, all of their presidential wannabes are no greater than Al Gore. So my prediction for the 2004 presidential election winner is Bush. Which truly is a sad thing even though I am a staunch republican.
