    Default Opinions...?

I'm doing Alice in Wonderland this year for storytelling, and i was wondering what you all think about it, and even maybe if you have some ideas [like whether i should use a chair/stool/or block, and what i can do for the shrinking and growing thing] I memorized it, and have most of the blocking, but I was just was curious what you guys think. Thank you!

    Default Go ahead.

I went to nats last year in storytelling and finaled without using the chair. I just acted everything. But I suggest using a chair and "playing" a little bit with it. The girl who won was very into the story and sat down and got up at times.

    Default Huh?

Oh, and for the shrinking and growing part, I say you could maybe do quick melts/pops with a weird sound such as..."yeeess" in a cute voice, and "noooo" in a fatty big voice. I hope this makes sense.
-Oh and do you know what the topic this year is?

I have to use some kind of seat, because when she falls i lay on my back and flail my arms and legs [like i'm falling, ha] :P and for the tea party, i'm just not sure what will work best, and i get what your saying about the shrinking, i'm just not sure what to do with my body, like, how to make it look like i'm shrinking, or growing, or whatever... and by topic do you mean the theme thingy.. well if you do it's Childrens Literature

    Default Wait...

But I thought the topic comes out in April. Anyway, about what you could do, might I suggest maybe sitting "regularly" in the chair with enough space to extend your body into a bigger version of yourself. This is with a sound of some sort of course.

i'm not totally sure what the topic is, i know it changes every year between childrens literature and folklore.. idk if thats what your talking about.. idk i've never done storytelling, last year my old coach stuck me in DI with a crap-piece.. but any-who...

I only grow twice, and i think i can get away with standing on the chair.. the first time i am 'in' a 'hallway' and i 'sit down' but i also have to be the rabbit... so i think if i stand up when i grow, and sit down, and make it look like i'm all crowded [in a hallway] and then when i shrink, i 'expand' like... and when i grow again i can stand, if that isn't too confusing.. :? idk, what do you think?

    Default Good.

That sounds pretty good. As long as you don't do the standing and sitting thing too many times so that it isn't too distracting, yes? Also I think the idea is great, and if the scene is clean, it'll really great.

we don't have a meeting until next wednesday, and then i can show it to my coach, ask him how to make it better, what type of seat i should use, etc... etc..

    thanks again
