Suggestions?

Hello, I'm new to OO. Actually, this is my first year doing any speeches.
I was wondering if someone could help me with my topic which is materialism in america.
the first could be vaguely about the "american dream" and how america has become increasingly obsorbed into it and the second could be how materalism affects the next generation. ie: kids with cellphones in 4th grade. the third is a bit off topic, but possibly about the sudden generation gap b/w the baby boomers and generation x.

Do it! If you can add some sort of interesting/entertaining twist, I think it could be a pretty good speech.
