Anyone have the round-by-round breakdown of results (octafinalists, quarterfinalists, semi-finalists, finalists) handy? Just interesed in seeing how things are going.

btw: special congrats to summer at the center intern, kevin troy who has almost completed the first EVER trifecta. he has the tiger woods trifecta (TOC, NCFL, NFL) in different years. his dominance continued this weekend as he was ranked 1,1,1,1,4 in the final round combined with his octos thru semis reranked cumulative score of 4.
we'll be updating any missing results as soon as we can and putting up old information (quarters pairings) as soon as possible.
congrats again to all of the final round competitors!
Yeah.
I saw his final round yesterday, and with all due respect to the other finalists, it was pretty obvious who won that round.

Is there anyway to get the questions used at NCFL?
I have all the finals topics. I'll post them sometime tonight, along with my general critiques.

Big ups to Kevin Troy. My entire team was watching that final round, and I think it was the only time they ever told me I was for sure beaten. NCFL's were definately fun this year, and even if I couldn't take home the championship (and give my coach the Oscar), I was glad to give Miami it's first extemp finalist in quite some time. Moreover, I am glad I could prove that extempers can wear a pink shirt.

To respond to Deuce's post...think of any good extemp question you have seen, and add the phrase "To what extent, if any..." to the begining of it. There you have my first seven rounds' questions.

To what extent is Kim Jong Il's North Korea a threat to world peace?
Mr. McGeary, I enjoyed hearing your speech. As a non-Yankee fan, I enjoyed your intro. However, you made constant references to it throughout your speech, which kind of got a little irritating. Your first point was good, but could have been made a little clearer. Your second point needed just a little bit more depth. I couldn't find anything wrong with your third point. You used six sources, and while they were all used effectively, one or two more would have been nice.

Thanks for the input. I left that found feeling really disapointed with how my second point went. My favorite thing about the speech was how I could easily notice who was and was not a New York fan.

Glad to be of assistance.
