I did "The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare Abridged" at State this year... to all of those who competed against me... I apologize, and promise never to do so again. Also, this is my first year in drama, so I wasn't aware of the "Don't Do Abridged Pieces" Rule...
I honestly thought FO was dead.

ok...they arent bad pieces AT ALL...I actully really like alot of them but, when I see something done ten times or the same concept done 10 times it just looses its value...as a performer and a judge. As an ACTOR I think the abridged pieces rock as a speechie...GIVE THEM A REST!!! I BEG YOU!! :shock:

I'm going to miss being laughed at for doing such an overdone piece, then beating the crap out of the people who were laughing at me, thanks to really nice judges...Muahaha...

i dunno...i think i'm going to have to go with rentzachrent. i mean you can't deny that a lot of the abridged pieces were hilarious. who knows? maybe some more will pop up to make fun of.

To be quite honest I dont fine the abridged pieces funny anymore...I am so sick of them i could cry...

i dunno...i still have this little bit of hope that some new funny abridged stuff will come out soon that will outshine all of its predecessors
