I want to publish your plays

Hello Kids.

I know many of you out there are not only talented performers, but also talented writers. Mushroom Cloud Press, which was started to publish plays written for high school students, is interested in publishing your pieces. This includes ISBN numbering and Library of Congress registering (which would cost you $200 to do), along with laying out and printing your script so it looks nice and shiny.

Mushroom Cloud Press has been publishing the works of famed forensics author Clyde Hendrickson for many years now. Currently, we're looking to expand our business by taking some new authors on board. Since I've personally witnessed the comic genius of many forensics performers, I know you're capable of producing great things. This is a chance for you to (legally) perform your piece, as well as make some money through the sales of your play!

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to make money by charging you to publish your play. It's absolutely free. We just share the profits when your amazingly hilarious work starts selling like hotcakes.

Ok a few questions just to clairfy:

Would you like one acts? or full plays?
Would you accept one person plays?
Is there anything you WILL NOT look at??

1. We can publish any length of play, from 10 minutes to 5 act shakespearean masterpiece.

2. One person plays are fine.

3. We'll look at anything and everything! (because we're easy like that).

Just wonderign does anyone out there know a little more about how this works? Maybe someone out there has actually done this before? Just wondering, this brings up many possibilities.

there are a couple people on these forums who get their plays published.

from what ive learned from them......they just write there plays. send them in . if they like it, they just might publish it.

ive known quite i few people who have been pretty successful from the pieces on this site.......although it limits you to one story because most are all ten minutes long......so you cant have a different cut then anyone else. and most the time the characters are very discriptive and you cant do much with them. unless of course you get creative.

i dont believe so......i think you just get money when it gets published. i could be wrong though

I just sent them an e-mail with a couple of questions so hopefully I'll hear back soon, who know maybe in a year or tow everyone will be performing my OP's form this year (not likely but wouldn't that be cool, unless they all beat me with my own pieces, that wouldn't be cool)
