Thread: What do you miss the most?

Default What do you miss the most?

You have to miss it. The all day competitions, the excitement of performing, the endless practicing, deciphering judges' comments, hanging with the team, meeting new people, etc. Forensics was such a huge part of my high school life, and even though I chose to pursue theatre instead of forensics in college, there are times when I miss it.

The thing that I most miss is being able to perform in a small, well-lit room where I can/have to make eye-contact and can really connect to my audience. It's not ambiguous and offers a chance to form a powerful relationship with an individual.

What are some things you guys miss?

The People - hands down. Just so much fun, loving, caring, and completely nuts. It was my family, whether at my school, within my district, or 500 miles away. Definitely the best part of forensics.

The 2nd part though - the rush of posting. DID I BREAK?!?!?! haha. Sooo much adrenaline. I still remember a number of occasions when it broke to Octos or Quarters and my name was the LAST ONE called. That was completely nerve wrecking every time it happened. lol
    That's What She Said
