I'm pretty sure Vinita Akula told me she was going to be at Yale. I want to hit them again anyways because I never got to see any of they're speeches, other than Vinita

I broke to semi's in OO at Wake, and I was impressed with what I saw. It was a very solid semi round, and while I didn't watch finals, I saw most of them throughout the tournament. Very good for so early in the year.

Having gone to Wake for the last 2 years, the competition this year was much stronger than last. This is going to be an intense year for OO if the competition is this good this early

I agree, it's going to be a very good year. There are a lot of talented people out there already.

And congrats to Kenny on 3rd!

Does anyone have the titles/topics for the Yale finalists?

    1) Adam Connor - The Quest to be Cool: How being cool, is not everything we should live up for?

    2) Janniqua Dawkin: How our generation is so much different than our parents.

    3) Kenny Lau - My Sensei is a Weirdo: We shouldn't not associate with people because they may be different or "weird".

    4)

    5) Something about how we need to be brave and take risks to live life.

    6) We should live in the moment rather than live our lives in the past.

CSU Long Beach (Jack Howe Invitational) was this last weekend. I think it was a Finals NIETOC Bid. Im pretty sure the results were:

Sixth: Soona Amhaz, Green Valley HS- "The Power of Thought"
Fifth: Jennifer Quevedo, Schurr HS- "Wrestling in the Shadows"
Fourth: Albert Carretero, Schurr HS- "I Got No Strings"
Third: Katherine Dwyer, La Costa Canyon HS- "The Prediction Addiction"
Second: Kimberly Mahr, Fullerton Joint Union- "P.S. You're Not Sick"
First: Elle Pratt, Fullerton Joint Union- "It's Time for the Talk"
