This was for extemp, but one of my teammates got the topic "is Taylor Swift a good musician?" Luckily he could sing "Love Story" onkey.

One of my friends got "Orange Nunchuks" once. I'll be honest--I wouldn't really know what to do with that. Somehow he did.

Thanksgiving weekend i had a meet and in the quote round i had "thanksgiving....i better add some buttons."

Only time I've ever been honestly unsure of what to do for a speech.

Hands down, the worst Impromptu topics round I ever had: Lavender, Purple, Mauve. The only time I almost put the paper down and walked out. (The 6 speakers were each given one of the 6 colors of the rainbow, plus two shades of said color). At least I didn't get "Indigo"... keep in mind this was before The Princess Bride, so Indigo would have been much harder.
