Sadly, Emory's program only consists of a Policy Debate team. Very sad for this former interper. :cry:Originally Posted by oosweetnesssoo
You have to audition to be on the WKU team, but if you're good the rewards are limitless.

See, I would be terrified that I would move out there (or whatever) and then NOT MAKE THE TEAM and.. that would suck. What do the auditions consist of?Originally Posted by gshock04
Ultimatly the college decision should be based on academia first and speech second. In choosing a school a person should try and find a college where you can get a good education as well as have a strong speech career.
Bradley in Peoria has a strong academic accredidation that is looked very well upon lawschools and employers all across the country.
Bradley University has had a strong forensic tradition for the past three decades. The team is really supportive with a lot of strong talent. We have a wide variety of people on our team and we can take good competitors and make them awesome, and we can take people with no experience and make them into national finalists (like ken young- AFA and NFA duo fnalist for the past three years) It's a great team and we have a lot of fun. I've had a great experience and they've taken me from where I was at Nationals and I've learned alot.
I just sent in my application to Bradley...
UMM in the reading of what i posted above I want to apologize if that came off as pompus or arrogant. I was in sort of a pissy modd when I wrote it and some of that may have transfered over onto the post. So if you were offended I apologize, if not NO BIG DEAL.
Thanks
