NC State Forensics Team

I was thinking about continuing with forensics in college. Does NCSU have a debate and speech team with events that I do (I do OO & Impromptu) and are they any good at it?

I checked out the AFA-NIET website and I didn't see NC State at last years Nationals. You should call the Speech/Communications department at the school and ask, or call the Student Activities or ASB Office and ask them if a team exists and who the contact is. Then call that contact and ask about events.

As for college events in general, Impromptu is offered (same format as in many high school tournaments: 3 topics, 6 minutes, student uses the time as they see fit). Oratory exists as Persuasive Speaking, but other events are added, like "After Dinner Speaking" - which is usually entertaining and persuasive or informative at the same time.
