I think that this is going to be an interesting year. I am sure that the programs that are usually strong will remain that way. It will be interesting to see what will happen at WWS, Nequa, and Plainfield with their coaches leaving. I am sure that the competitors mentioned will be great, but I am looking forward to many new performers stepping up this year.

I don't know if anyone has noticed yet, but the IHSA has released the regional and sectional sites (not assignments). Some interesting changes with the Elk Grove regional feeding into the Downers South sectional, and the Wheaton North regional feeding into the Fremd sectional. The Glenbrook South regional is back to the Fremd sectional, instead of going to Reavis. If anything, there appears to be quite a bit of change!

DGN was quite good. Saw a lot of promising performances throughout the day. Erin Walsh did really well for Radio, I'd say. Extemp was also impressive. I'm curious about the interps, though. Anyone see promising pieces as far as HI, DI, DDA, and HDA?
