Hey guys! So over this past 09-10 season my team and a few others in our Dallas area, decided to pick up a camera and start filming the most random of things at tournaments. Eventually we developed some plots and ran with them. And we ended up with a series entitled: Cross Entered or XE. The premise of the series, tracks the stories and life's of several students whom every saturday compete at speech and debate tournaments. The film stye is very similar to that of a Mockumentary (i.e. The Office). We only were able to film a couple episdoes this year, but next year we are really gunna start picking it up, starting with NATS! Now our one rule is no filming of an episode until after all final rounds, that way its no distraction. We usually film in that always dreadful gap of time between the last final round and awards. Those two girls look very familiar. They did the piece Defying Gravity. I saw them twice in my teammates Duo Quarters and Semis round.

Matt was hysterical! He was practicing his HI behind the window drapes! ROFL. Then, you guys started bashing John. Luls. :O

hahaha thanks!!! Yeah the schools that are in the episodes are Grapevine, Creekview, Mansfield, Harligen South...i guess.??....(mainly just john), and anybody else who really just wants to be in it!! Oh and btw im still working on uploading Episode 2:Mansfield Tournament. , but YouTube is just taking forever!!

I think I might have been in the video for a split second walking to check postings...

It truly does have a very The Office feel to it. I like it! :)

Bahaha, did you manage to film anymore this year or am I gonna have to wait until next year? These are really funny, but ummm . . . did he really pull the fire alarm?

hahaha thanks sam!...i think thats your name , i mean i saw Plano Sr. so i figured. Anyways haha no he didnt actually pull the fire alarm haha. What happened was it was the tournament was on halloween and they had like this haunted hallway during the tournament and their were some smoke machines that set of the alarm. So we figured we would weave that in some how and worked out great!!! haha! And yes unfortunately that was all we got around to, but next year we will defientely have more!!! I am hoping to film a Nationals video though so that should be pretty sweet!

Haha, I'm excited to see how the Nats video will turn out, if you come around to it. If not, I'll have to tune in next year!
