hello, i just got back from the league tournament ( i entered HI and DUO) and (by the way im in the norcal bay area with leland n such) LELAND pretty much dominated (and bellarmine, i guess)
yea so anyways.... results sorta:
DUO: 1st place - THE BIG BANG, these guys are cool, me and my duo partner talked to them, they have CRAZY blocking, sound effects, funny stuff, haha no plot at all but the amazing tech/blocking covers up for it. the whole peice is full of energy.
2nd, 3rd, 4th, umm im not sure but there were peices like dominick and eugene, ummm, patt moody, n stuff like that.
5th place. me and my partner, XYZ files, nuff said. haha
the rest had some peices that i can't think of right now, or maybe i just don't know because i was double entered (final round too!) in HI, so i never really watched other duos.
okay so HI (i was cast a 5th place spell, and got 5th place, haha, again.)
1st place was something that had to do with the fake newspaper "the onion" and it was really really funny. cutting was great and very sharp tech. goood. it totally deserved it.
2nd place snow sort of white.
3rd place 500 hats i think? dr. seuss, haha, i think... good tech. very good tech. funny accents i guess.
4th place "actor" was hella funny, creative blocking, blablalba this guy did the wrangler roy show at states last year, and he also did captain underpants "wicked wedgie woman"
5th me. "i hate mathematics"
6th william shakespear abridged?
7th celbreity jeaporday.. i think.
