Favorite Pre-Tournament Ritual

What is your favorite pre-tournament ritual (if yours isn't listed, please comment below).

Card games are always great but my team usually ends up barely making to the tournament on time so our pre-tournament involved frantically trying to find the cafeteria and our room assignments.

Before we leave our school however, we always play at least one game of hangman. A weird little tradition that all started last year with a giant dry-erase board and a Sharpie...

I've never been into wall-talking. When I practice I like to practice in front of people. I feel silly talking to walls.

on the bus ride i always close my eyes and sit there like meditating and praying running through my HI in my mind until i fall asleep. it gets me relaxed and in the mood.

i like to listen to music on the bus then sing the song i was listening to when i get into the school. it warms up my vocal chords. even if im not that good. haha

i love to practice spreading with my AC and also edit it for the lay judges

I vote warm-ups. I graduated and still join the team for warm-ups when I come back to judge. It's so much fun, even though by comparison our warm-ups weren't particularly exciting.

i voted mp3 but in all honesty... that's only my second favorite thing. my first would have to be socializing with everybody there. it's honestly my favorite thing to do at a tournament! :)
