As nationals comes to a close, lets start talking about about next year.
What pieces do you plan on doing, events, ambitions, etc?

I'm gonna be doin Dec, USX, LD, HI, and maybe some NX, and/or some other kind of interp and/or oratory.

I'm gonna be doin Cyber Life by Dave Gustafson as Dec, not quite sure about HI, and I'm writting my oratory over Cultural Acceptance.

I'm gonna qualify for the national tournament in both LD and HI by being the district champion in both events, and I'm gonna end up taking LD to nats, where I'll go completely undefeated, being the first sophomore to be a national champion in LD.

I'm going to ditch forensics, join the circus, swim the English channel, cure cancer, and then settle down to a nice, quiet life as President. No, jk.

Let's see, I'm doin Duo and Senate next year for sure, and then lookin at USX, Oratory, HI, or LD as a second event. I won't disclose my Duo piece yet because we're still not completely sure about it for one, and then also because it is going to be so extremely original that I don't want anyone stealing our ideas.

I'm going to double qualify for Nats (you can't triple-qual in my District) in Senate and then whatever individual event I end up doing. But then, I shall pass up on Nats to go to Europe as a Senior trip. Alabama vs. Europe - not a tough decision, despite forensics being thrown into the mix.

Well this was my last compitition year, I just wish I could have gone before and learned what I know now. Im gonna go back to my school and train myself a champion of some sort, like district champ, maybe qualifier. I talk to my coach about it. So yeah, im going through peice right now. Whet we noticed is that in HI, it seems like childrens books, or atleast Young adult literature does well, because its not offensive if you dont cut it that way, So the challehge is to be good, stand out, and at the same time appeal to every judge, since the majority of judges are house wives or people with children the children stories do well. Hears to Dr. Suess.
