So I know that it's in Henderson, Nevada this year.. but what are the future Nationals locations?

I heard that it was supposed to be Honolulu, Hawaii next year, but that changed into Birmingham, Alabama... does anyone know why?

Is 2010's nationals location announced? I hope it's Hawaii. :O

Discuss dream locations here, etc. :]

I'd love to have it Denver for the sheer fact that its close enough to drive to for me. Denver is pretty good and theres tons to do not to mention the fact that they've got some pretty impressive speech and debate programs too

Well, besides Hawaii, I'd love to see nationals in California, just because it's on a completely different coast from me. Change of environments always exciting.

the reason why it will never been in Hawaii is because every school would have to fly out there and not everyone can afford it.

BOOOO.....Hawaii would be great. or California......

No offense, but KC doesn't sound all that interesting and from what my coach says, when they did hold it there last, he didn't care for them either

I'd second Denver. I was there over the summer and loved it. or possibly Colorado Springs, it's close enough to Denver.

NYC Nationals would be cool or LA.

Orlando Nats would draw me.

or maybe in the Middle East!

If they had it in the Middle East, do you think they would let women compete? I sure hope not!

We just had a thread on this somewhere.

I don't know where you heard Hawai'i. I'm 99% sure no one ever intended for it to be Hawai'i. That's very impractical.

2009 - Birmingham
2010 - Kansas City, in my former school district, even

Your coach never met me.

Yeah, here's the old thread.

The 2010 NFL Nationals will be in Kansas City, MO. Right by my house. Like, I'll be able to have Tab in my living room, pretty much. It's going to be co-hosted by Don Crabtree, coach of Park Hill HS (I help coach at Park Hill South).

is there anything exciting there, or is just a regular ol townWell, I am here for one. I am worth the price of admission. But there's also enough for you guys to do for a week. Kauffman Stadium (home of the Royals) is truly one of the most beautiful ballparks in the nation, Union Station is a blast to hang out in, and the Country Club Plaza is a wonderful place to stroll around for a day. There's other things to do that I can't think of off the top of my head, but I think I am justified in liking this city for living and for tourists.

Hmm.. Kansas to LAS VEGAS to Alabama to Missouri.

My senior year at Missouri -- is there a lot of stuff there, or is it going to be similar to Wichita?Wichita is to KC like KC is to Vegas.

We're the 26th or so largest city in the nation. We're not KANSAS. How dare you and so forth. Also, don't think that Vegas is gonna be all PARTY WOO LET'S GET CRAZY for you guys. If you're under 21 (and I think most NFL participants are) there's not going to be a ton of crazy party times. Cinderella, back me up on this.
Does NFL always pick states that aren't very big? Why not Chicago, or Philadelphia, or something? The NFL goes where it's best for the NFL and the students. They have to run a tournament, and while they try to make it wonderful experience for all the participants, the tournaments takes priority over any tourist aspects of the event. And as Cinderella already mentioned, they are being held in large cities. Charlotte, Phoenix, and Philly have all had Nationals in the past ten years.

Anyone who thinks KC is anything like any part of Kansas has never been to KC.

True Chewie, my coach hasn't met you, but my coach hasn't led me astray thus far so why start now? :P

Now, I'm not sure if its been mentioned but perhaps Seattle or Minneapolis? I'd enjoy those places next to Denver haha

I think LA or San Francisco would be great. Both interesting cities, and both on the West coast. There's never any nationals on the west.
