Stage Schools FINALS

Do you think that we could come up with a list of 15-25 high schools that we felt had the best shot at qualifying students SEMIS AND THE STAGE (FINALS) and actually get many right??? I mean it's truly anyone's game at Nationals, and everyone has a shot....but on the other hand-

I will focus on OO. So, I am saying that in OO SEMIS AND FINALS, out of the hundreds of very competitive high schools that will flying thousands of miles to the tournament, I am predicting that these 25 teams will have representation in OO. I HAVE NO IDEA IF I AM GOING TO BE ANYWHERE CLOSE to being rtight........ Out of the 14 SEMI FINALISTS, will I get 3 right??? This will be my experiment. I mean it is ANYONE"s game at nationals. So many kids... working so hard to get to the stage, you just never know what high school will perform.

ehh, I'd put Apple Valley & Holy Ghost Prep. above Eagan. Holy Ghost Prep. has Anthony F. and Apply Valley almost always has one or two in the semi/final round of OO.

There is a school called West Des Moines Dowling Catholic, but no West Des Moines HS... there are lots of schools in West Des Moines... it would need to be more specific.

We're speaking of just OO? How about Plymouth? Seems like they always have some very good Oratories.

I am shocked. Out of the hundreds of high schools in attendance at nationals, I listed a very small number of schools that I predicted would be represented in Finals.


1. Apple Valley - CORRECT (2 OOS)
2. Denver Kent - CORRECT (1 OO)
3. Holy Ghost Prep-CORRECT (1 OO)

I am not sure where the other two are from, but I will match them up to my list later. I still am in disbelief that out of the hundreds of schools, and you really never know what will happen at nats since it's such a crapshoot, I accurately predicted the schools that would have OOS in final round...... I mean every high school has a legitimate shot for Stage and you truly never know.... kudos for me.

I agree with "theatre_speech." A lot of these schools seem to do well overall at the tournament, not just in OOl.

she placed 12th I believe but you do not have her listed.

That post was prior to nationals to guess who and what schools would be represented at Nationals.....he didnt intend to not put the high school/competitor up there, that being said the competitor did well because they werent on the radar
