Those symbols you see in rostrums after a national tournament, it shows everyone who qualified to nats, I see Y, U, E, etc.

I know Y is oratory, but what's the rest?

Can you give us all the letters so we can assign each?

I'm pretty sure "X" is Cross-Ex Debate and I would be shocked if "O" wasn't oratory.

No, at least last year and the year before, "Y" and not an "O" was in fact the abbreviation for oratory. I used to know these all, but I can't remember the rest of them at the moment.

I don't know if anyone cares anymore, but was looking through some of my stuff from Nationals and I found this list and my:

X - Debate
F - International Extemp (I guess from Foreign)
U - US Extemp
Y - Original OratorY
A - DrAmatic Interpretation
H - Humorous Interpretation
D - Duo Interpretation
N - Public Forum Debate (Ted TurNer Debate)
L - Lincoln-Douglas Debate
S - Congress (Senate)
R - Congress (House of Representatives)

Those are only my guesses as to why each letter was picked.
