one of the bookstores in the area is closing and having a major sale. so, of course, i bought the heck out of some books. in doing so, i found three collections of poetry that i think have promise. all i've done is flipped through and scanned bits and pieces to see if they were worth buying. i'm just wondering if anyone has come across these and has any thoughts.

the cosmos poems by frederick seidel
girl coming in for a landing by april halprin wayland
shakespeare bats cleanup by ron koertge

The first and the third I've never heard of, but Girl Coming In For A Landing was my freaking BABY my senior year. Probably my favorite poetry collection in existance.

it's about this boy who was injured in baseball and finds a new hobby through poetry/literature.

i still haven't completely read through any of those. i'm so lame!
