a. MALE
b. FEMALE
c. PLEASE.... did you hear any good ones at NCFL Nationals?
Camille - e-mail me or PM me and I will make some specific suggestions other than my online list if you still have not found one.
I am really looking for 4 terrific decs for this year, 3 female and 1 male.
The one male has already done Barrack Obama and Steve Jobs. He was State winner with the later....... any great suggestions?

some great ones i saw at cfls were:
Take Back The Night- about domestic abuse, really moving. it was funny because cfl weekend we had a huge take back the night program in our town. i couldn't find an internet link for this one sorry, but i didn't look very hard. i bet with some sleuthing it could be found.
Bill Waterson commencement at Kenyon- http://home3.inet.tele.dk/stadil/spe_kc.htm it is by a man, but i saw a girl do it. it isn't very gender specif. i really like this speech.
Lessons Told By A survivor- anoher domestic abuse one. I really liked this speech because it was very down to earth. i think it is written quite well. http://www.feminist.com/resources/artspeech/violence/lessons.html
these really stick in my mind as well written.
other good ones:
Toni Morrison Nobel Prize- oboviously if Morrison wrote it it has to be good, and she lives up to her standard. i lwas browsing and i found this; it's very good. http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/literature/laureates/1993/morrison-lecture.html
Richard Feynman commencement- this is quite gender specific, so a boy definetly has to do it. i love Richard feynman more than i can say. he is my ultimate idol, so this speech, in my mind, is spectacular. this requires a very glib way of presenting humor, not for the shy. http://www.physics.brocku.ca/etc/cargo_cult_science.html
