We need some discussion. It's almost nats!
We all have one. There is that one area where we know we should know something. We know there is tons written on it. But we know we'd drop if we drew it.
Mine?
The World Cup
Cycling the papers/magazines/journals/think tanks in my weekly rounds turned up dozens of articles on the significance of it, but I just don't care. I can't make myself care. I'd rather do East freakin' Timor before this.
What's yours?

aw, anwr isnt so bad.
anything social in nature is the bane of my existance. that includes topics from religion (yes, david, the da vinci code...and i hate you) to sports (like the world cup and doping athletes) to lame teenage idiocy (like masochism, which WAS a cfl topic).

masochism, which WAS a cfl topic
Oh, KICK ***! I want that topic! I would never cite any sources, and I'd probably drop. Still, that would be SO much fun. Lol. I could spend a whole speech making fun of emo kids.

haha... making fun of emos is always fun.
another topic that i dont get along with: anything about justice john roberts. again... not a hard topic at all... but there was a debater at our school named john rogers and i always get them mixed up. last time i tried to give a speech about roberts it totally messed me up.

one round my 3 topics were gay marriage abortion and the upcoming election.
I went with the upcoming election, obviously, but yikes I was sweating bullets with that one.

God...I don't know why but whenever i give a speech on an education topic i seem to fail miserably. Doesn't matter how much evidence I use or how well I did in round never can get better than a three with schools.
