I think I have succumbed, and will be applying to Interprod.

Now the only thing is getting accepted....and bribing the money off of my dad...

I'm in relatively the same boat... my parents will only pay for it if I a)get accepted (obviously) and b)get a 3.5 GPA, which is a virtual certainty.
