iraq in DX

do you usually come across much stuff about the war in iraq in domestic extemp?? my coach thought it might come up... so yeah... we're just trying to figure out how to file everything.

I would say definately yes. When I (ix) and my cohort (dx) went to Nationals last year we didn't sort our files. Thankfully, they let us prep together. My partner said 4 of 6 were basically on foreign affairs and policies.

My general rule is if the word "US" can appear in the question, OR if it appears prominently in the answer, then it's a potential DX/NX/USX question. So iraq, I think, definately qualifies; however, bear in mind that any questions will include a US perspective, so that may help simplify your research.

omgsh i know, that's been driving me crazy. i just started speech and debate so i'm having a hard enough time keeping up with all the abbreviations as it is! gosh :roll:
