so, here we are... on the brink of another exciting year.
to all my fellow Kentucky storytellers....

-what are you thinking as that first tourney (the larue swing on oct 29) nears?
-who do you fear?
-who are you expecting to jump out at you this year?
AND
-what pieces are you ecpecting?

i didn't get to go to Larue, cuz my piece wasn't ready. My 1st tournie was Scott County and i was really surprised. The cute, rhyming pieces aren'tdoing so well this year. The more popular one are overdone Jack and other folktales. i decided to change my piece just so i could be judged mainly on my performance and not my piece.

REMINDER: I HATE OVERDONE JACK STORIES.

and everyone who finaled at Scott Co in Story were guys.

hmm.. from my experience the more unique a piece is the better it goes..competition wise.
I hate the rhyming ones!... althought unique piece ...with an awesome unique presentation is always a WINNER>
