Here's the problem: We're drifting away from doing actual scripts and trying something new. We want to attempt using duel poetry pieces to put together a piece. (Two authors performing at once)

We can't figure out a way to make a theme that can include duel poems about Cheating, Short People, and America.

It was going to be a theme of modern duel poetry, but that's weak and obvious.... so who is clever enough to come up with a way to combine all three?

Sounds a bit like Fiefer's People (performed by Logan, finalled at NFL Nationals this last year). They had a bunch of loosely connected pieces with a very poetry-based flow pattern. I remember seeing some good material on Def Poetry Jam on HBO that was done by two people. Check that out.
