Regretfully, I didn't break. (weeps sadly to self)

Yeah that's correct, I semied in DP. I'm not sure what seat I was within semis though; if the order they called it in awards corresponded to final seating, then I was 9th.

Jeff, I fully expected you to be in finals and do my special shorter version of your piece instead of the normal one...oh well I can dream can't I?

there's always NFLs, Mr. Fox. Congrats btw, to you, sir, on kicking catholic *** in DP. I don't think your 2nd place has been mentioned yet in this thread.

Jeff, man, you've got to go to NFLs with RAGE and smoke them for the injustice at CFLs. What a ****ty tournament. I think CFLs needs another thread so we all can *****!!

You have to admit though that the tournament at least ran somewhat smoothly. There were people from the Atlanta national tournament apoligizing to us this weekend about how badly it supposedly ran a few years ago.

That's true. The tournament went way better, schedule-wise, than it did last year. I think the most I waited in a round for a third judge was about five minutes or so. 'Twas a pleasure.

i had a great and very emotional time. i broke to octos in OI, but that doesn't matter. what does, is that FOUR people from our district broke to at least octos in OI, and that is awesome. two of them were in finals.

florida represent.

you don't have to be a catholic school. you should find out who the cfl advisor person in your area is and contact that person.

you have to be within a diocese. in order to have a diocese, you need a catholic church to represent your area as the CFL representative. the broward area (north of miami in south florida) doesn't have a catholic church to represent us, so we compete within and act as part of the miami diocese.
