What Cherian should also mention is what a great camp CPS is. For any of you considering extemp camp, you should really think about the Center for Public Speaking. It's at Macalaster College in MN (so I can attest to the campus' quality), and the instructors are second to none. There is both an advanced and a general division, so all skill levels can be accommodated. In the interest of full-disclosure, I will be working there this summer (as will Kate Rice, second at USX Nationals last year). But I am not being paid to say this. Quite the contrary, I really think it's an excellent opportunity to improve your extemp skills. Hope some of you all come!
