I was a room monitor for section B dec semis. You guys are all pretty crazy- all of them deserved to be there. I really liked this one kid who gave a speech about education but I don't think he broke to finals.

One??? There were lots of people doing it...I was actually in an octas? round with another girl and Shantel who did it, one right after the other...there was sooo much repitition in terms of pieces this year, I thought I might cause some serious bodily harm unto someone if I saw "A Whisper of AIDS" one more time!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Wow. Signed on here and was shocked that y'all are talking about Shantel!

She's ours, from my school. :) So proud! She's an amazing talent.

The only thing that upset me was that the girl who took 2nd donned a fake accent and that's illegal according to bylaws.

Bittles - you were great too. Saw you in Octos and Finals :)

Yeah! You were the one in the yellow shirt in her semis round? I was observing in the back. Since when did they give observers...?

Yes, I was the kid in the yellow shirt. I got a yellow shirt because I was a volunteer. Those yellow shirts are cool. I was a room monitor but one of the other volunteers came with me so he stood outside the door and let me watch the round and I just got the ballots at the end. It was so much fun being a volunteer at nationals! You all blow me away with just your sheer skill in this activity.
