i've noticed every single one of these topics are either predictions....or tournament complaints....so...how about a change of pace???

this year in speech has been increda-cool because____________

i'll start:
because i've met and gotten to know the people i now consider my best friends...and because it proves that smaller groups really do get along much better (we had a smaller team...but i had so much more fun this year....ie: the princeton tournament) oh..and because my favorite jokes are inside jokes...and boy do i have a bunch of those lol

I have learned that not everyone in speech are freaks.

...unfortunatly I didn't meet any of those people...

Owell

I do love my freaks.

:D

...because, as a senior, i feel i have really been able to help out our younger members, and give them advice that hopefully will continue to help them in the future. i've also been able to assist middle school speech kids, to help prepare them for the world of high school speech. i've made a number of personal achievements, and though i also failed to reach a couple of key goals i'd made, it's been a wonderful and successful year. i got to try a bunch of events, and overall it's been very satisfying. and i'm not too horribly sad about leaving it behind, b/c i got onto western's team, so i can keep doing this in college as well.

who's your friend that's gonna be on the team?

i'm going on monday to help the middle school kids again, b/c their state is the following weekend. at least, i think i'm going. we have to make sure my grandparents can take my sister, b/c mom won't let me take her with me. go figure.

because:

I have a super -dooper fun piece that i love to preform!
I have made so many new friends this year in SPeech & inspired many of the youngesters on my team that with diligence and practice you can go far and to always keep a postive attitude; even if you don't always break.
I just have had so much fun this year its unbelievable! At Assumptions tournament I was dacning in the gym to the Spice girls songs... my fellow team mate did the Mexican takedown on me. I have also had the oppurtunity to see my little sister turn from an awkard speechie to a true competitor.
