I want to take a quick poll, and see how many different people you have seen doing this piece, this year. And also, who was the best you have seen? Im coaching a girl now who is doing it AMAZING, lol not by my account at all. soooo, i want to see, if she makes it to nationals, how many others will be doing it too! So lemme hear it!
I've only seen it done once, and that was in Harvard DI finals last year. I believe the same guy finalled at NFLs with it.

That was Jesse Myerson who did it last year and finaled at NFLs.
I really like this play--as documentary theatre goes it's one of the more interesting works out there-- and I think that if cut well it translates really well to Interp. The problem is that most people whom I've seen do it were not so good, which to me, as a judge, hurts them more because I know it's strong material and a weak performer.
If your girl is doing well, more power to her.

Never heard of it, so I can't say it's overdone.

It is done quite frequently, but like said before, it isn't done well.
