Does anyone have results from NCFL's? I'm dying to learn how my team did...and I probably won't know until 10 tonight. I know, I'm impatient

i second the plea. actually though, while i'd like to know all results, i'm dying to know how extemp finals came out :-)
I know an interper won it, dont know his name tho.
I know that Reinholt and Tannewald were both in it.

yeah, i actually watched the final round, both of them did a great job on a hard subject area (religion and philosophy, everyone's favorite)....logan scisco from ky also made finals, but aside from that i can't remember the other 3 for sure. i do know it was all guys, though....

We're not really sure what happened with Bone. He was very confident after his quarterfinal speech, but I suppose the judges just didn't go for it. It should also be noted that David Tannenwald and Ron Kendler, both from Newton South (Boston), were placed in the same quarters and semis. This inexplicable poor pairing by tab caused them to knock each other around, causing kendler to drop and tannenwald to rack up the rankings that would hurt him come awards. Since, by all accounts, he seems to have pretty handedly won final round, this seems a plausible explanation for his 5th place rank. Congratulations go out to the other finalists, all of whom, I am told, were excellent and highly deserving of their awards, especially Greg Wagman (who I am told is only a junior).

Yes Kendler and Tannenwald hit each other in quarters and semis and that was not cool at all as it hurts them both on cumulative scores but according to NCFL rules there is no protection in outrounds. Two past extempers from my team both made semis in 1998 and were placed in the same semi room with one knocking the other out before finals. I think their should be protection but CFL is just a bunch of luck w/pairings.
I was fortunate enough only to hit Kendler in octo's and not have to collide w/Bone, Hemel, and Ponn who all ended up in the same round...avoid Reinholt, Hemel, Bone, Tannenwald, Kendler, and Wagman in quarters....and then avoid Tannenwald and Kendler in semis. Things might have turned out differently if I had but we'll just never know. However, pairings at CFL as with all tournaments are purely luck and seeds don't matter AT ALL.
Does anyone know Tannenwald's ranks or anyone else's from the final round. Mine were 2-2-3-5-6 and I wanted to see how everyone else stacked up.
