Funny sad or dramatic

Which do you think is better for prose funny sad or just dramatic.
A girl at my last tounament won 1st with a piece that wasn't funny or sad just very dramatic.
I personnally myself am tired of all sad prose it pisses me off. I mean its ok some of the time but there is just too much sad Prose

By "dramatic" prose do you mean pieces that are generally a mix of both humor and drama?

i mean just putting alot of emotion into it.

id go for none of those. if anything, sad. but mostly, just something different. something new and fresh. no matter how you perform it, youll always stand out if your piece is completely unique.
