View Full Version : Glenbrook Hazing
What are everyone's opinions on hazing and the incident that occured at Glenbrook North High School. Will this have any affect on their team or The Glenbrooks (hosted by them, Glenbrook South, and New Trier)?

I'm not sure what the seniors at that school were thinking. Even though it wasn't a non-sanctioned event by the school, there will be consequences. There's got to be some kind of law for this--- harrassment, assault, something. I don't care if it's some kind of initiation ritual or not, there needs to be consequences. If I was a school administrator, I would have any of the girls who are school athletes banned from every sport at every school in the district that took part in the hazing and as proved in the videotape. It's a bad reflection on their community.
On the question if it will hurt the Glenbrooks tourney: no, I don't think so. A few years back, someone got raped in the restrooms at my school, but that didn't stop people from using the restrooms.

Did u guys see the actual fighting scene, and the severely injured students? It was so crazy, there's no other word for it.
And I can't believe that the girls who got hazed paid 40$ for it. (For the sweaters and stuff)
Having that tradition was wrong from the first place, regardless of the alcohol issue.
And of course, just because of those stupid kids doesn't mean that there won't be any 4n6 teams. Glenbrook N. is actually one of the big schools in IL.
