I don't know for sure, but I have heard to rumours.
1. Championship Debate and Extemp
2. Championship Debate Enterprises.
Although, it may be like 'how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?' there may be no real answer. post your Ideas.

After extensive research and investigation, I can conclude: There is no real answer.
I found this (http://wwwserver.law.wits.ac.za/listserv/archives/saimmigold/msg00336.html) after searching for a while on Google...but I highly doubt it has any meaning. I searched every page I could on cdedebate.com but couldn't find anything there, either.
The mystery continues!

It is Championship Debate Enterprises. I came to this conclusion after searching google for that phrase and came up with numerous responses. We all know a little more now.

Championship Debate Enterprises is correct, although they don't print it in their literature.
Canned Delivery of Extemp

colin, colin, colin.
fine friend. why must you propagate these terrible rumors about CDE style. while many may not agree with their techniques, they are good, and do nothing to create a mechanical speaker.
i know that none of the three speeches in finals at Nationals, that had a CDE influence really sounded mechanical to me.
the most mechanical sounding speaker in finals of FX had nothing to do with CDE. i think that people should realize that many extempers are mechanical, not because they went to x or y camp, but rather because extempers have a tendency to be a tad mechanical. i mean, we choose to spend weekends writing 7 minute speeches on stuff like the economy of nepal, or analyzing the pros and cons of greenspan's adjustment of the interest rates. not always the most compelling material.

Kyle, Kyle, Kyle,
Fine coach, why must you be so sensitive about your debate camps? I'm just joking. In fact, probably the only reason I make fun of them is because even the most mediocre of CDE extempers are better than I'll ever be. I understand how successful they have been, and, as a matter of fact, am deeply jealous. but since I know I can't hope to match their success, I figure I might as well mock it instead. As to the nationals speeches, I was there too remember. My favorite finalist, Anish Mitra, was a CDE'r. I don't have anything against them.
lol, come to think of this, I think I posted it right after losing Greely Central FX to Jasmine Bennet, of Taos, and a CDE alumni. I always resent losing in extemp because I lack polish, not because I think it's unfair but because I can't seem to do anthing about it.
Fun times at the Salt Lake FunDome,

P.S. if Jasmine is out there and sees this, you should email me. you may have beat me and I may have been bitter but you were still cool and I wanted to stay in touch with you!
If I'm not mistaken, he has accepted. I had to decline, and thus, I pout:
Pouting over. thanks for humoring me
