Finding an HI piece

I'm new to this whole HI thing and i've been trying to find pieces, but i'm having no luck. So, i was wondering how do you guys find good pieces? Also is it better for the piece to have more humor or more plot? Sorry if this is a typical post or something, but i'm completely confused on this whole deal.

Personally, i think finding Humor pieces is hard. Last year i was a freshman and i couldn't find anything for like a 3 weeks. So finding humor pieces is hard but here are some tips: Find pieces that not many people know about. This is good because you can add **** in your piece and no one will be the wiser. But if you do add stuff in ur piece (which is illegal by the way) just make sure that its not too random becuse people will know Um if you want pieces like this go to www.brookpub.com. To answer ur question most of the pieces that i have seen that have more humor than plot don't do as well so try to keep the plot and the humor equal.
