Nick is the current reigning NFL National HI Champion. He is in his senior year at Iowa City West High School. His accalades are as follows:
2000 6th Place NFL in HI
2001 NFL Champion in HI
2001 and 2002 Glenbrooks Champion in HI
2002 2nd Place Glenbrooks in Duo
2002 Crestian Classic Champion in HI

Nick will be competing at 2003 NFL Nationals in HI and Duo.[/b]

There's no reason he couldn't be in HI and CX...Mike Kozminski almost was, too. You can't do congress and another event because Congress goes on while all the other events do as well.

What peices did Nick win with/use in the past years?

I believe that his sophomore year was his first year doing HI, but I can't recall what he did.

In HI:
Last year, he won Nats with Sideway Stories at Wayside School
This year, he has done Batboy

there are like 30 important characters in that book.

His sophomore he did "episode 26" - he was the one who magically picked himself up and threw himself across the stage. I have watched the tape in slow motion and I don't know how he did it.

Yeah, you can enter in CX and HI at nats...my DUO partner is doin CX and DUO

Last year Koz did qualify in both CX, HI, and Congress, but had to give up the Congress spot. The double entry was two interp events. If NFL had allowed double qualification in 2002, Mike Padden, from Park Hill wouldn't have had to give up his DI spot to Cassie. In reality, Michael would rather have gone in CX for both himself and Tyler. I am so going to miss Tyler and Michael next year. I absolutely adore both of them. They are truly gentlemen and have great futures ahead of them. It is too bad they didn't qualify this year, but so be it. Tyler was really disappointed, but he knew that they were one of the teams to beat. My personal feeling is that one of the teams from our district was a fluke, but...

There is a new Double entry rule at natls.

They took it away at nats last year with some random crap about how it would make less people go to natls.

Skewed logic dont you think? If people double enter wouldnt less people attend?

Anyway in Sept of this year they retracted the rule and even are allowing double entrys in IE events (before you could just do it in like Debate and EXT, or like OO and DI or HI) But now you can enter in almost anything you want. Like DUO and DI, DUO and HI, OO and DUI. You cant double enter in two debates I believe.

And thats about it.

They just made a new succession rule, that said If like I qual in DI and DUO, the only way an alternate can go, is if I dont enter in the tournament at all. Trying to discourage people from making kids give up spots to kids who didnt qual.

i know but he could have in congress but he said in his speech and I quote"I must give up my name on the slate because I already qualified in hi...blahblahblah....I give my vote to Ashley French...She is cool."
