hi,
i'm thinking of doing DI next yr and i am looking for a piece. I would like to do a piece that is like a psychological thriller type of piece. One that is similar to "Standing on my Knees" by jon olive. A piece that talks about someone who is emotionally disturbed or going through serious problems, i think that i'll do well in a piece like that. so if anyone can find a piece for me i'd really appreciate it

thanks

The Insanity of Mary Girard is a good option.

"What Drove Me Back to Reconsidering My Father" is a good one... it's about this girl who is pissed at her dad... and she is talking to a doll.. and in the middle... the doll starts to talk back... Kinda wierd... but so is "Bend" (another good option) who was phenominally done by Ines del Toro.

JoeleDaCuban would you by any chance know the name of the author. The piece that you've mentioned sounds like a piece i would love to try out.

hey uh... Im not quite sure who the author was for "reconsidering my father..." However, I do know that the author of Bend is Mark Frank, and I do know that Reconsidering my father comes from an anthology from a Best American Plays book.... I have it somewhere at school, or it might be at debsterz house. I dunno. But I'll try to find out.

Thanks anyways! I was thinking of buying tha book online but I just wanted to make sure that I couldn't get just the piece. See I almost always just buy the books my pieces come from. Is "Bend" a really good piece to do?
