I watched Storytelling finals. I thought the girl from Knott deserved first place. I loved her piece, the way she delivered it... i competed with her in my third round. She is a sweet heart. I loved the one about the elephant saving the who people! I've seen it preformed before i thought it was great.
Overall i loved state, there was some people i though deserved to be in finals but they didn't make it. oh well thats life.
Plus there is always next year
*it's my birthday, it's my birthday!*
come one, people! where are you! storytellers should be the biggest talkers!
the elephant saving the who people was "Horton Hears a Who" by Dr. Seuss. that's rachel's piece. she's awesome, i was so proud of her making state finals.
i didn't watch semis or finals. i couldn't bring myself to see all the people who beat me. i watched h.i. instead.

congrats...mine was the 18th. I think i have a really good piece for next year... (crosses fingers). 8)
i haven't even considered a piece for next year. i've though about it some, but nothing is jumping out at me like "bartholomew and the oobleck" did. but i'm going to camp this year, so maybe i'll find a good piece there.

i can't wait for next season... i wish it would hurry up! Awh...yeah!... whoop whoop... i am going to try prose next season. (we will see how that one goes  ) ... i am so EXCITED ABOUT STORYTELLING!! yippie!
i may have said this before, but anyway...
i'm going to see if my coach will let me alternate my events next year. i mean, story and duo and solo will be my main three, but i also want to try another prose, and an oratory, and believe it or not, i wouldn't mind doing d.i., if i can ever find a good enough piece. now that maggie and kim and havannah are gone, i shouldn't have so much of a problem.

i'm more of a carmocha shake person.
oh no no! cappuchino all the way, baby!
i tried a double shot of espresso once. oh man is that stuff ever strong! and uber-bitter, too. i couldn't finish it, i gave the rest to ben. but it was goooooooooood!

i'm all about the cappuchino. I love the stuff, last yr i would go to our local coffee house atleast 2 times aweek... it was my drug. I can successfully say i have kicked my car-mocha shake drug habbit.
yay for kicking habits. i'll drink just about any kind of coffee if there's enough sugar in it.
Hey Veronica! YOU ROCK! :D
