hey Cali,
Just wondering, who are you or what pieces have you done this year? As for Marcus Dorsen...I hit him at UT in semi's of HI...and was not impressed. Granted, I had Cody Kirkpatrick and Ericka Dasher both in my room...so I graciously took the 3...**** it. Marcus was also in a prelims rounds at state and, although I didnt see it, I took the 1 over him. I cant say that he got better since I last saw him...and I never saw Steven K's "Airplane"...but I heard nothing but good things (except that it IS the movie...not really an Interp of it..w/e). So I'm a lil' perplexed about the Marcus thing as well. Andy is a friend of mine and I was really sore for him when he didnt break to Finals at state...almost as sore as when I didnt...lol. Oh well, on a better note:

North Texas Longhorn District is THIS FRIDAY/SATURDAY! I'm taking my HI and DI (both semi'd at state) so...we shall see what we shall see. WISH ME LUCK!!!!

There is no rule in the NFL that says touching is illegal. The perception is that it is illegal, but the fact is- it's not. That being said- so few people really understand the rules, that this would seem to be a huge risk to take.

It is legal, but bad. In duo you are stiving for an off-stage focus. Hugging, even without eye contact, ruins this illusion.

Marcus is performing "The Last Touchy Feelly Drama on the American Stage" and although you may not have been impressed by it earlier in the year, he has driven it go great progress in the last few months and likewise tore up at our district tournament. He earned his national qualification and I am glad to see him going.

To add to the Great Duo Debate of Contact and Conduct (or GDDCC as it will hereby be remembered in history... in my revision), it is strictly stated in the NFL Constitution that there is to be no physical or eye contact between partners.
