This poll is conducted by Phil Rappmund (****ed up kid he is) and policy debaters at cross-x.com. It has ran for 2 years and typically draws a large voter turnout.
Previous weeks results dating back from 2002 can be found at ghsdebate.cjb.net. For more info on this poll and how it has worked, see: http://www.cross-x.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27682&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

I love that Denver East has three teams in there, and two have never done anything at any tournament. And why are Goyal/Joglekar so low, they have gone 3-2 against Jones/Jamison....and they beat all of Cheyenne East and won the Cheyenne Central Tourney
Just a weird thing to me
Terry: this is based on voting alone, so it's like "most popular in debate." Niether Phil nor records decide the placement, you just tab the votes.....kind of like for homecoming queen................weird.

lol, records absolutely determine placings. there is complex formula that allocates prelim records, elim results, type of rounds won/lost, size of tournament, etc + voting
but anyway;
Last week's list-- the following regional tournaments were taken into consideration: I (northern), III (metro), VI (western), VIII (metro)

The list + more info can always be found at http://ghsdebate.cjb.net, Rapp’s CO debate supersite

Denver East AG broke at DU and East/Creek earlier in the year. Denver East VE was 2nd at jeffco invite. Kent JG were consistently in the top 3 on the poll until state quals. while i still think they should be in the top 3, that's just how the votes went down
I do not pretend that this list isn't subjective however. x-apply what mayya said

I think its hilarious that Becca and Nikki keep plummeting in the poll when they keep winning.

So, who else thinks that at least 2 of the top 5 won't break past round 4 at state??? I love how screwy Colorado judges are.

Congrats to all the teams who broke/placed/got ribbons/qualled to state/etc over the course of the year. (Fairly) accurate results of every tournament in policy debate available on http://ghsdebate.cjb.net.
