National Qualifiers

Hey everybody...just wanted to get something started on knowing the people and the pieces that make it to nationals...i don't know if the Qualifiers are any time soon for any of you, but mines is in two weeks...so i hope that you post it

i believe that mine is at the end of the month, i am in the san diego and east la district(or something like that). i am not quite sure when it is...im really just trying to figure out if i can double enter at it(in an IE and congress). but as soon as we actually have that i will post the results. meanwhile we're in the middle of our state qualifier, Ie's are next saturday.

hottness...i can't believe that Nat quals is around the corner...i swear...i'm really excited but at the same time it's nerve racking because this weekend i have State B quals...DUO HI and all those events...the week after i have state congress quals, and the week after i have Nat quals...it's just a lot of tournaments at one time to deal with. The funny thing about it is that i can give predictions for state qualifiers but our district is so hard that i can't predict the top two in any event...we'll just see what happens...Good Luck to every one in state quals and nat quals...I just realized something...is it that everyone that comes to FO.NET is very succesful or am i just crazy...I think that we have some of the best forensicators on this site. Ok so NFL Districts is coming up really quick...i'm so nervous right now...It is going to start on Thursday and will carry on until Saturday.
The second i know any results i'll fill you guys in. So if you have already had or are about to have Nat Quals...fill us in on the results. It would be appreciated if we could know the pieces.

Brittany Turner and Latoya Johnson- Logan ????

So they're for sure going to go in DUO...i don't know if that is very smart...they should have gone in there I.E.'s...they probably would have taken it in both events. I don't think that they are as strong in DUO as some people might think. Has brittany even lost in DI...how about Latoya. Anyways so...the stories from Wayside made it to nationals...it would be interesting to see how they do there. They've done well all year, but i don't they will make semi's at Nationals.
Anyone else have results...we can actually start formulating guesses for National Finalists...I predict California will have a very good year at Nationals in DUO, DI, HI, and OO...Good Luck James Tsuei on your Nat Quals.

Ok so today is the day...yeah...yeah...yeah...oh my god i'm freaking nervous...it's only debate today, but still. I don't debate and all, but it's still the fact that the tournament is going on...Here are my predictions to the National qualifiers and pieces from my area:

DI:
Multiple Personality Murder- CLovis East High School her name is Ashley Knulls

Blue- Edison High School...don't know her name
or maybe
Wasted- Centennial High School.. her name is Rachel Knight

DUO:

Sounds of Silence-hopefully; Foothill (me and Dasy*) Juan De La Cruz
and Shea Everett

The Complete History of America (abridged)- ( one of these girls does the CAt in the HAt...i've been helping them with this duo and is really good. they are both freshmen. Centennial High sChool... Sarah Knight and Viet Wang

HI:

The Cat in the Hat- ( I hate this piece but she's a freshman from a rival school that i helped out last night...she just memorized it but it is so much better than any Cat in The Hat from final NAtionals. CEntennial High School... SArah Knight

Live at the Greek Theatre- (from my school) Foothill High sChool.. Kayla Johnson

Melting in the Melting Pot- (i don't know what it is about but i think that the title kind of explains it. Centennial High SChool.. Viet Wang

Jeff Bauer and ??? Greenfield- Jeff Bauer and his partner that graduated from last year got 6th place in Ted Turner at nationals last year. from Liberty High School. Greenfield is one of the best Extempers in our area.

Justin Grammy and ??? ???- Justin Grammy is the 2nd place winner in California State last year in Imp. I don't know who his partner is going to be. Stockdale High SCHool

National Extemp:

Ashley Brown- Her biggest competition Justin is going in ted turner at nat quals so he can't compete in extemp. She will more than likely win it. Centennial High SCHool

Angelique Ronald- she is pretty talented..but could never beat Ashley Brown. South Bakersfield High School

Foreign Extemp:

??? O'sullivan: she is a sophomore and very talented...she will probably win this event this weekend. from Stockdale High School

??? and ???- from Edison High School...they won the Valley championship early February

Ashley Brown and Rachel Knight- Centennial High School...they hopefully will win the whole thing

Tomas (Toe-moss) Alverado- a junior from East Bakersfield High SChool...very god speaker...one of the best congresspersons i know.

CJ ???- he is the best LD'er in our league and will more than likely win it. CEntennial High sCHool

is she the girl that got 1st at the lamirada invitational? i loove that piece.... she beat me in the final round (i got 4th overall) but in the semis...two judges placed me higher than her i think... muahaha...

in other news i might not go to nat quals anymore, b/c we are really tired/dead... i dunno yet

The alternate taking my place is also doing Inside Al...but it's horrible from Edison Computech
