All right, another thread for us TFA-ers! We are just that cool I guess. Anyway, I have a question. Gooo figure. This is what I get for doing this at school. ANYWAY, what are the consolation events this year? I heard that they alternate prose and poetry (i.e. one year prose, next year poetry, then prose, then poetry... you get the idea)? Is there anything else? Because to be perfectly honest, I don't plan to get very far at State in OO, and who knows about duet, but I'm all for consolation events!!

haha. i'm a realist, what can i say? anyway, anyone out there that can help me? thank you mucho!!

They are no longer doing the PO and PR rotation...

This year's consolation events will be POI and (as always) IMP...

Programmed Oral Interpretation: A student selects a program of thematically linked materials from two or three of the other competitive genres (prose/poetry/drama). Any published material is acceptable, newspapers/diaries/internet sources acceptable.

And... That's about it.

Fun fun fun event.
